Not necessarily. It is possible to have a VBAC done but more and more it is becoming highly unlikely you will find a hospital that will allow a surgeon to do a VBAC anymore for liability reasons. I'm a surgical tech in the OR and where I live as of April 1st none of the hospitals around here will be doing VBAC deliveries anymore. My sister was not happy when she found out she had to have another c-section since she is due in April.

I had two C-Sections the first was emergency, and the second was routine, one year apart though, so I think it depends on how long ago your C-Section was b/c sometimes it's dangerous to try and do a vaginal as your uterus could burst, but who knows. Good luck

No, it is not necessary.. it depends on the situation.. i know many of them who had the first c-section and the other children's normal.. i also have a friend who had two normal kids and the third is C-section...
so dont worry.. you will have a normal child..
All the best

You could have a VBAC as mentioned above. Some doctors prefer to do a repeat c-section. It all depends on medical issues.

I think it depends on the reasons you had a c-section.
But I have been told that it is possible to have a choice, if the reasons you had a c-section was serious.

it's possible to have a VBAC, but your hospital has to okay it and you need to find a doctor who will do it. I would go the csection route if it was me, because if your uterus rupture you probably will lose the baby. It's a small chance, but do you really want to take that chance

It depends on the reason that you had the first c-section.
VBAC (vaginal birth after Cesarean) is quite common now.
