The Holocaust was a horrible event that killed millions of jews, gypsies, jahova's witnesses, etc. But, why is the Holocaust constantly used as an excuse to allow the zionists to occupy Palestine? Isn't the point of the Holocaust not to let another act happen like it, but the Zionists are killing Palestinians everyday and occupying their land. Seems totally wrong, both for the dishonor done to Holocaust victims by using their sacrifice as an excuse to kill others.

First, there is no such thing as a Palestinian. These people were refugees in Trans-Jordan, illegally I might add. Jordan didn't want them and told them to leave.

No Arab country wanted them so the story of them being Palestinian was made up.

Solomon built the first Temple on Mount Moriah 3500 years ago and Israelis were living there long before that.

Arafat, the one that made up this lie was born in Egypt.

Well, it's like this...the JEWS (not Zionists) were promised the land around Jerusalem some 4000 years ago...there was this guy called Moses...you can read about him in the Bible or the Torah, I won't get into it...do the research yourself. Meanwhile, this Mohammed character only appeared in 400AD. That's pretty recent, comparartively, wouldn't you say????

Through the ages, the JEWS (these are people who subscribe to Judaism and they are NOT Zionists. They are Jews.) have been kicked around, murdered (a la Spanish Inquisition), kicked out of various countries (Russia, for example. Have you ever seen Fiddler on the Roof?) and in general, not been treated well.

So, long story short, the JEWS (not Zionists) post-Holocaust, are sick of being beaten up and gassed and like that. So they decided that in order to remain in the area they would need to become a militarized people. And they have. And they're GOOD at it. Of all the nations on Earth, Isreal is the LAST nation I would want to pick a fight with.

So, no. The Holocaust, as ugly and horrific as it was, is not the reason that they are so defensive of the territory.

No. but Jews understand No one will help them if they can't take care of themselves. Each century, in Europe some country had event where violence against Jews occur ed. In the 1940s, they were very nearly wiped out. You can partially blame Britain for how Palestine was occupied as well but If Jews are going to be a sovereign nation, they need territory with sovereignty. Also if the Arab nations cared, they could aid and assist the Palestinians in having a homeland as well.
Israel is not going away and the holocaust is part of the reason why.

History is clear: Israel of today is indeed the land of the jewish peoples based on archaeology, the bible, the Histories, the manuscripts and arab and israeli alike!
But so what?? I mean, the Greeks and Persians were fighting 2500 years ago but that does not justify a war today, does it? The Roman Empire had most Europe before the Germanics and Hispanics took over... so should we fling half Europe to Italy? (Rome's heir) I say no and no again!
Should Hitler have conquered Poland just because it was Germany's right through history books? So give Poland to the Germans.
I'm afraid, some would rather go back in history than progress into the future. I don't say the Jewish people should not have a homeland. I say they should consider where they live as a homeland.
I don't say they should not occupy top political jobs. I say they should not seperate themselves from the world, calling themselves the ''jewish state''. Indeed that is racism. Racism that could shame Hitler into tears.
The holocaust was wrong. But I say, If you were tortured then you should not torture another. If you do, it means either you weren't tortured in the first place and you have been lying. or that you were, and now want to inflict pain on others. Either way, the Zionist way is wrong. But that is my opinion.

The original point of Israel was to help protect jews so something like the holocaust would not happen again. By the Jews having there own nation, they are able to have a voice in world affairs. Jews and Palestinians are violent to eachother, it isnt one sided. DOnt think murder justifies murder. Anyone who kills should be punished to the full extent of the law, both zionists and palestinians.

Palestine is part of the old British Mandate system. Israel existed long before the British came in and destroyed it. The league of Nations made a gross error by stating that the modern state of Israel would be located in Palestine, not is Palestine itself.

It is Jew Haters like you who would like to finish off what Hitler, of cursed memory, started. Why not be honest with us and profess your hatred of Jews.

Jewish ownership over the Land of Israel is mentioned numerous times in the Bible. The following are a few examples of quotes from the Bible which show that by Divine decree the Land of Israel belongs to the Jewish People.

Genesis Chapter 15, Verses 18-21: God's covenant with, Abraham, the father of the Jewish Nation regarding the land: On that day, God made a covenant with Abraham saying "To your descendants have I given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River: the Kennite, the Kenizzite, and the Kadmonite; the Hittie, the Perizzite, and the Rephaim; the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Giragashite, and the Jebusite."

Exodus Chapter 13, verses 16-17: Moses is commanded by God to announce the prophecy of redemption, to take the Jews out of Egypt and bring them to what will become the land of Israel : Go and gather the elders of Israel and say to them, God the God of your forefathers, has appeared to me, the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, saying I have surely remembered you and what is done to you in Egypt. And I have said, I shall bring you up from the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanite, the Hittie, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivvite and the Jebusite, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

Numbers Chapter 34 verses 1-12 : This outlines the boundaries of the Holy Land which God commanded to the Jewish People for an eternal inheritance. The following map shows the boundaries as stated in the Bible:

The Jewish People own the Land of Israel,
not because of the United Nations declaration,
but because of God's declaration.<< The entire world,<<<<<
including the Land of Israel <<<<<
belongs to God. And He chose to give the Land<<<<<<<<<
of Israel to the Jews.<<<<<<<<

In light of the above, the claim made that the Jews have stolen the Palestinians' land is completely unfounded. It can be shown that their claims to the "West Bank" and Gaza clearly fall within the boundaries of the Jewish Promised Land. To say to the contrary would be a denial of the Bible.

Where did the name Palestine come from?
The name Palestine refers to a region of the eastern Mediterranean coast from the sea to the Jordan valley and from the southern Negev desert to the Galilee lake region in the north. ***************The word itself derives from "Plesheth", a name that appears frequently in the Bible and has come into English as "Philistine". Plesheth, (root palash) was a general term meaning rolling or migratory. This referred to the Philistine's invasion and conquest of the coast from the sea. The Philistines were not Arabs nor even Semites,************ they were most closely related to the Greeks originating from Asia Minor and Greek localities. ******They did not speak Arabic. They had no connection, ethnic, linguistic or historical with Arabia or Arabs.<<<<<

The Philistines reached the southern coast of Israel in several waves. One group arrived in the pre-patriarchal period and settled south of Beersheba in Gerar where they came into conflict with Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael. Another group, coming from Crete after being repulsed from an attempted invasion of Egypt by Rameses III in 1194 BCE, seized the southern coastal area, where they founded five settlements (Gaza, Ascalon, Ashdod, Ekron and Gat). In the Persian and Greek periods, foreign settlers - chiefly from the Mediterranean islands - overran the Philistine districts

So, have you read your history books? The Islamic religion has been a blight only since about the 6th century, Israel existed on about 2/3rds of the Middle East clear back to 2000 BCE. I'm not a Jew but I'd certainly rather be cheated out of my hard earned dollar than have my family and myself blown up or our heads chopped off for being a Christian.
