im pregnant, and i think im getting hott flashes. i can be sitting on my bed watching tv, and then all of a sudden i get extremely hott. is it hott flashes, or something else?

i have the same symptoms as long as its not a fever over 100.4 you should be ok. also watch out for heavy cramps. if any occur call your doctor asap. congrats :)

I have been getting them off and on. Especially at bed time!!! I have to turn the ceiling fan on and it makes my husband mad! It was 47 degrees outside, but I was burning up like we had a heater on or something. I live in Texas, so 47 is cold! I know exactly what you're going through. I think it is just hormonal.

It would be hot flashes. I was pregnant all winter in 2001 and my hubby and I would constantly fight over the thermostat. I would turn it down while he would be turning it up. You would have thought it was summer some nights for me

hot flashes are normal. but they don't compare to being pregnant in the summer time down here in florida! this is #2 i will be carrying in the summer!

YES! I had them as well. I would wake up soaking wet almost everynight. I feel your pain. Good Luck with everything. I wish I could tell you what helps but I don't know.

It's hormones, perfectly normal. What helps is if you layer your clothes so when you get hot you can remove a layer.
