In Yu-Gi-Oh!, my favorite card has always been Summoned Skull. I realize that now he's slightly useless, being a level 6 monster with no effect and all. But, in the day of the beatdown, Summoned Skull and I ruled the field.

In Yu-Gi-Oh, I've always loved the card Cyber Blader. It's ATK is decent, and its three different effects are fun to use to annoy your opponent.

Ryu Kokki cause the picture for is so cool looking plus he's a decent level monster with 2400 atk and 2000 def combine that with a mystic plasma zone card and call of the mummy and on turn 1 you can have a 2900 atk monster on the field.

In Pokemon my favorite was Zapdos i had never played the card game but i use to love the video game. Also in Yugioh may favorite is "Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy Of The End" its a real killer.

when i used to play pokemon, i think my favorite was bulbosoar (im pretty sure i spelled that worng lol) i have never tried playing yu-gi-oh though :)
