You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatreds. You cannot establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man's initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves.

You have no right to take something that is not yours. If you take money from the rich, no matter to what use you put it to, you are stealing. The money neither belongs to you, nor the poor. It belongs to the rich person in question and he is the lawful owner of it. You simply cannot take it without his approval.

No its redistribution. How many people watched Robin Hood? They all liked him. If it is good enough for Robin Hood it should be good enough for you. Now follow his example. Go forth and rob the rich and give the proceeds to me!

In my humble opinion, it would be leveling the playing field.

I guess I'm a bit of a Robin Hood.

I always favor the underdog.

In the social order, however, it gets more complex.

The super rich get anonymity, the middle class gets shafted, the poor get taken care of.

Take away "the rich" and "the poor" and replace it with "one person" and "another person". Still sound fair?

Isn't that essentially what you are doing?

I donate to Habitat for Humanity, Feed the Children, and United Way, because they actually help the less fortunate, not the lazy and irresponsible.
