#1: Czechoslovakia was made defenseless by the loss of the Sudetenland, and was completely taken over by Germany about 6 months later.
#2: The Soviet Union gave up trying to form an alliance with France and Britain, and decided to start negotiating with Germany instead.

The 'Munich' Conference,or 'agreement',was a meeting between the leaders of 'Great Britain','France','Italy'and 'Germany'.
'Germany' wanted the 'Sudetenland'(the mainly western part of 'Czechoslovakia').
To prevent war,'Great Britain' and 'France' agreed.
The 'Sudetenland' was about 85% german-speaking.
They all agreed in September,1938,in 'Munich'.
