Yes, obviously the thicker the paper, the better quality. According to my source, the medium weight for a greeting card is 216 g/m, which is the standard paper weight.

However, this would all depend on a number of other factors such as the printing quality, the image/text quality itself and also the amount of ink used when printing.

The paper I use is 110 lb. (pound) weight. I like thicker rather than thinner as you can set the card on a desk or table and it doesn't flop over.
