The vagina is only about 5 inches deep. The majority of the nerve endings are in the first third. So basically, you only need about 2 inches.

all you need is about 2 inches, but here are some other numbers:
If you want a single number then there are 2 of them, when doctors measure for a study its about 5.5 inches (going from about 5.25' to 5.75', because some studies show lower average then 5.5, and some larger, but only by about .25'), when its self measured (measured by the male him self) in a study the average is about 6.2 inches, but take into account that doctors, say that men with larger penises are a lot more willing to be measured for a study, therefore, they put up a range of average size, when doctors measure its from 4.8 to 6 inches, when self measured its 6 to 8 inches, so what we like to say is anything from 5 to 7 inches is average, but most men fall into the lower numbers (5 to 5.7 inches)

The vagina is designed accomidate penis's of many different sizes. There is no maximum or minimum.
