Is not having a caucasion club, but an african american, latino, and asian club segregational or racist?

Well, at my highschool, the majority of the school is hispanic, followed by caucasion. This might have something to do with it. But anyways they have an asian club, african american club, and latino club. No caucasion club. When i asked they said it would be racist. But in the clubs they allow everyone to join. So would this be something i could petition about or call it segregational or even racist? I just figure if they are going to have a club for one ethnicity, why not have a club for each one?

It can be, but it can also be a cultural link. Does the caucausian club exchange potato soup recipies or complain about the other clubs? Cooking pot roast in the crock pot could be a cultural club - saying that you are going to sign the gym out on MLK Jr day so the African American club can't is racist. Honor diversity, and remember that we are all people first.

This is probably because african americans, latinos, and asians are minorities for the most part. Creating clubs like these will offer a chance to allow individuals of similar backgrounds to know each other and discuss similar issues they have specific to their race such as traditions. Also, they may have similar interests such as movies or music from their native countries that they can talk about. However, I'm sure a caucasion club can be created at your school if you come up with a good enough reason =)

If you plan on fighting it, its gonna be a up hill fight, because of what bob likes to call the white factor. There is something you should know, in history white people have never been discriminated against, that is what created the white factor. Other races have been enslaved, looked down upon and hated by white people, but no one did it to them. White people where never in chains, white people were never forced to go to worse schools, sit in the back of the bus, had their native land taken away, had their culture destroyed or were not allowed to vote by another race.

Second, this is not segregation you even suggesting this is segregation loses respect with bob already, if you are going to use such a powerful word at least know the defenition. The second you drop the s bomb, someone is gonna get all up in your *** for using it in a situation that does not involve it. Incase you didnt know this is the definition of Segregation-The policy of practice of seperating people of different races, classes or ethnic groups, as in schools, housing, and or public commericial facilities, especially as a form of discrimination. You see the way you say it, ANYONE can join these clubs, which automatically eliminates this as being segregation and that would destroy you in a fight over this if you were to say segregation. You see segregation is when you force another race to use another bathroom or go to another school, no one is forced to join these clubs and anyone can.

Moving on not really racist, but racisim, unlike segregation, is a valid thing to bring up and can be used against them. You see lacking a white club just means they dont have a white club, although it could impliment they are racist. Saying racisim is gonna stir the pot and make some people mad and it proboly wont work in your favor.


Bob would highly suggest this, you go see the principal or someone in charge of the clubs and go ask them if you can start the white club, they would probobly let you unless they say they dont have money, then you say i will provide everything and pay for it myself and we wont need much, just a class room or whatever to put the club in. The school probobly will let you do it, theres no reasno they wouldnt unless they dont have the money. And in that case you and your friends supply the money and if you cant tough luck your not dedicated enough. Anyways how much money does a club take, what the fuckd oyou do in a white club anyways. That is a peaceful way, donesnt stir the pot of hate or bring up old demons. Now go and start your white club, you have bobs wishes.

White people have no right to have pride in our society. You can't be a majority and have pride in the United States they are afraid its going to create a facsist society and tear down the fabric of society as we know it.

The truth is they say were racist more than black people, Hispanic, and any other race. The truth is I won't say the N word or any other derogitory word against them but I have been called a cracker. They call this a free society its a racist society against the majority. It has turned into reverse racism. This is the only reason I have been voting for republicans for the last few years of my life. They have figured this and everything else out. The ACLU won't work they only help the minority so it won't work at all. I have called and they laughed in my face.
This is no longer a democracy its ruled by only a few select groups this is why you can't have a club. The ACLU is one of them fighting against it.

People of other ethnicities join together to foster a community and discuss issues to make things better for themselves and their community. White people don't need to do this. White people are not minorities. They are not discriminated against. Have you heard of white privilege? It's the way things are in the Western world, whether you believe it's okay or not doesn't matter. Because people are white, they inherently do not have to go through the same issues minorities do.

Let me ask you, if you created a white club what would you do? The ethnic clubs I know of generally join together and work to create awareness of certain issues and help members of their community. What kind of awareness would your group promote? What would you do to support the 'white' community?

You need to realize that everything is not just in black and white (no pun intended). Minorities do not want to be "white", and they shouldn't have to strive to be like how white people are just because they're the majority population in our country. America is no longer going in the direction of a melting pot, but a mosaic where everyone can retain their differences while still getting along.

And what does it mean to be white anyways?

I think whites certainly have a right to a club, as long as its about celebrating white history and culture and not about celebrating a supposed superiority, especially since you are more of a minority group at your school. Much of white history beyond that of the British, Greeks and Romans is not studied in American schools. So the history of the French, Germans, Romanians, Russians etc is not studied as well when it is just as facinating.

The problem usually comes though, from whites acting all beligerant about it as if the instance of them not having a club negates all the racism that has occured on their behalf. If you are reasonable with your proposal and explain that you would like to learn more about your people, I'm sure people will understand.

Another example of political correctness run amok. What they are doing is actually racist by not allowing you to have a caucasion club. If you really want to make a fuss about it, get a lawyer involved. That ought to shake things up!

Well in my school there is a class called European history and there is a European history club. Ask for something like that and it won't seem as racist since it has to do with education.

It's not racist. In the high school that I attended anyone could join any club no matter their skin tone. I'm sure it's the same way in your school.

I'm sick of all of this. If a white person wants to be equal to a black person, it is considered racist. Why don't we have the NAAWP? Why don't we have White Entertainment Television? And why is it that when a black man is killed by "the man" or a white person, it is an atrocity, but when a white man is mugged and killed by a black man, it is just an ordinary day?

If PC didn't exist, we would have a near-equal society.
