they mostly have single matches.
no special like hell in a cell, cage matches, hardcore, last man standing, i quit, tlc matches, etc......
and when they have these matches once in a while, they don't use much weapons as b4, why??????!!!!!!!

The WWE like to make the big matches only at Pay-per-views because the huge financial benefit. That is how a lot of the WWE is run now...MONEY.
I can understand no hell in a cell or grand matches on Raw, SD or ECW but they never have any big matches on them. It is making it boring to watch the house shows because all they are really are warm-ups to the PPVs!
BRING BACK THE ATTITUDE ERA!!!

1 - They don't care about making anything good. What's gonna happen? McMahon is so proud of being a billionaire he has to have his own main event instead of giving the fans quality.
2 - The show is 2 hours of cheesy, immature nonsense anymore geared to the little kid/teen audience who buy action figures and crap
3 - Who wants to see pay-per-views if the regular show keeps putting main event matches on tv for free?
4 - Who do they have you'd want to see in a theme match, aside from the top 4-5? Hell I can barely come up with 4 or 5 at all much less main event material.
That's why TNA is #1 in my eyes now. Only 1 hour but that means you don't get the same 2 guys over and over and over
There's enough going on that they can spread it out and build up to the Big Matches. Really, how many times do I have to watch Cena not trust HBK and almost get SCM blahblahblah I GET IT - they don't quite trust each other - MOVE ON!!!!

Basically, if you have special gimmick matches all the time, they get old.
Think about it, if every week there was a ladder match on Smackdown between two guys and not for a title or title shot, when they finally have one in a PPV, it would just be not as exciting.
Some reason why not every match in ECW is hardcore. It would just get old quickly.

honestly i call a special match a pure wrestling match so i think u mean "why dont they have as many stipulation matches as before?" well hardcore wrestling is only a small part of the business... gotta respect the art of wrestling, not the weapons used... its better that they dont have gimmick matches as often, but theyre good to watch every now and again

because they dont have superstars that can withstand those brutal fights as did Mick Foley back in the Atitude era.
