I was wondering if it's possible to do that? Like I have 2 PCs in my house. PC #1 has the DSL modem and the wireless router. I have a NETGEAR WGT 624 v3 Wireless Router. As for PC #2 (which is the one I use) is being connected by wireless internet and I used a USB adapter that is the NETGEAR WG111T for PC #2. My ISP is SBC Yahoo! DSL and I download at 155 kb/sec and upload at 40 kb/sec and I'm located in Northern California. Is there anything else to buy besides the CAT 5E or 6 cord? I'm planning to buy the CAT 6 cord since it's the only cord that I found that is flat enough to go through doors.

Cat 5 and Cat 6 are compatible so either cable should work. if your concern is the "speed" check it with a speedtest like speakeasy etc. (Be sure ONLY one computer is in use when testing)

It sounds like you may have some signal level issues or interferance, try using a different wireless channel.

in case you somewhat might desire to apply a under pressure and instantaneous router, connect the instantaneous router to the under pressure router between its LAN ports. that's beneficial to disable the DHCP and information superhighway connecting service and the outfitted-in firewall of the instantaneous. Its no longer a might desire to, yet exciting to play around with.
