figure out what the wattage of this powersupply is and try to double it or at least close.......if it's 300watts, go for 500watts or more.

you are probably right at the edge of the powersupply's capacity which causes it to ALWAYS RUN HOT and will therefore fail very quickly.

Power supplys burn out when a short happens on a device on the motherboard. I have seen a few machines with so much dust in them, that the cpu fan would just give up and stop spinning... causing your computer to freeze, randomly restart, and/or burn out ur power supply. I went through 4 power supplys on this one computer before realizing to check the fan. I would definalty recommend u check that first before u buy a better bigger one.

What are you running? Get a higher wattage power supply, at least 400W. Go for a medium end model so it will handle the load. Also check your motherboard for any fried parts...you might have a short. Double check all connections, positive to positive(+), negative to negative(-), ground to...you get the point.

first and acceptable, in no way disassemble a ability supply. they might carry a unfavorable, even deadly, cost long as rapidly as they have been unplugged. there is not extra something serviceable indoors. you will might opt to troubleshoot guy or woman components at this element, even although the motherboard is a in all hazard criminal.
