should work just fine. most 1000 ca batteries are junk from what Ive seen. the little smaller battery is actually made More durable. the bumping around it takes in the SUV won't be as hard on the plates inside the battery. i believe the plates in the 1000 are thinner because it needs more to make the higher amps. so there more fragile. either way it won't hurt the vehicle.

You can replace your battery w a cheaper one. CCAs really only matter in cold weather, so if you live in Florida your ok, but if you live in Canada your SUV might not turn over on a below freezing day. Also you don't want to leave your radio on for a really long peroid of time or use any power accessories w/out the engine runnning because the battery could drain quickly. If you have an amplifier set up in your suv you definitely don't want to go w/ the cheaper battery. There is a reason the factory put that battery in your SUV. Good luck w/ your decision.

Not really. The battery will die very quickly and will be labored to turn the engine over.

yes you can but if it has a large engine it will wear the battery out sooner in cold weather
