He will get in no trouble at all. He can register in many places - post office, county registrar of voters, DMV & there will be tables outside supermarkets as the election nears.

If you are on the electoral roll, you have to vote or you will be sent a fine!! ( I think it's a $55 fine for failing to vote) If you don't pay the fine, it means a court appearance. Failure to attend court means they will cancel your drivers license and or motor vehicle registration. Then you're in deep poop. So much for a democratic society.

Rules, rules and more rules.

If you are supposed to vote and don't......... expect a fine......just pay it!!

Registering to vote is different than registering for he draft.
There is not fine for registering to vote.
But If he this lame, maybe he not going to worth the vote.

If he's a democrat he will be put in prison for 100 years, unless he agrees to continue to never vote.

I'm not sure what they do with republicans, but my guess is that they are more than welcome to come into the fold.

It doesnt matter. Its your choice to vote and no one is going to force you to do so.

If you registered then your allowed to vote.
Doesnt mean you HAVE to.
