Wrap ice-cubes in a rubber glove, and let the ice-wrap sit on top of the gum until the gum hardens. Then scrape the gum off. Repeat if necessary. Hope this helps.

i have had success with using "goo-gone". put a small amount on the gum and let it sit for awhile. rub the spot with a clean rag. it should loosen it enough that you should be able to pull it out. when you have it all out, just use a mild detergent or dish soap to finish cleaning the area where the gum used to be.

First use ice and remove what you can after it hardens...then spray what's left with WD-40 and scrub it in really good. Follow up with some spray on carpet cleaner and a good scrubbing.

I'm a restaurant manager and we use the can of air that you would use to clean off the keyboard of your computer. point it directly at the gum, at close range, and it freezes it, then just "pop" it off with the back of a butter knife.

It doesn't come off, until you take your carpet out. That what happened to my carpet.

it sounds like a pretty bad situation, but use some kind of greasy lubricant such as WD40 or "really good s*****t". then just kinda scrape it off. make sure that you dont make it worse though, so make it hard somehow.
