Is Macromedia player a good thing to download?

It keeps popping up on my computer, and they want you to download it to play certain games. Any pros or cons on this.

well, it just takes a little space on your hard drive so probably there are no cons on this. You need the player to view flash or shockwave application. and once you've downloaded it, the pop-up won't come back again. and many sites nowadays use flash or shockwave to create games, advertisements, etc. so without the player, you'll probably miss a lot of stuff.

LOL of course it is you need it to view most flash movies except the ones that use shockwave but yes download it
