Hate to tell you all this, but strabismus and amblyopia are conditions know as "lazy eye". The first does not affect one's vision, but the second one does. Neither of these affect the actual eyelid so those answers to this question are WRONG!! I am not sure what the answer is, but I would say he either has idiopathic facial paralysis or Bell''s Palsy just like Joe Mantegna.

I don't know what caused it, but I do think that it made his acting career. He has an automatic enraged look which worked perfectly for his role as a pissed-off high school football player in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

A lazy eye. It is a genetic condition known as ptosis. The upper eyelid muscles are not strong enough to open the eye fully.

It's called Ptosis. I was reading an interview with him and he said it's hereditary and that his dad had it also.

Im not sure, but I think he has had it his whole acting career, he could have had a stroke like the person above me said. Or like you said it could be a glass eye because it doesnt seem to move around alot.....I think it looks like he has a lazy eye.
