i'm currently borrowing/watching Alias. today i finished the season finale of the 2nd season, which is when we discover that Sydney has been missing for almost 3 years and Vaughn is married.

it seems so strange and uncomfortable, and i loved Alias the way it was. does it get better, so that it's like it was before? will i end up still loving Alias as before or does it just stay weird and uncomfortable?

The series does get better. there is still allot of twists and turns coming your way. the only exception is that the final season feels rushed. you will be happy with the end product. give it time. be warned the way the stories are told will change a couple times and so will the basic premise. im not going to go into much detail because your still watching the show. enjoy

Personally, I loved Alias, and I miss it. They do a great job with the tension between Syd and Vaughn. It's not until the last season where she was pregnant and still going on spy missions that things really got a bit silly.

Most of season 3 will be weird and uncomfortable, but the good news is that I think thats how they want you to feel. Alias was seemed to lose direction in its 3rd season, but it still has something to it they you won't really get anywhere else.
