I live in California too and I think that trend was over like 6 or 7 years ago. To each their own I guess......I do think it's a bit lame tho.

The only thing I've ever had on my nails like that was a Buckeye, painted on both my middle fingers, right before the OSU - Michigan football game..... so that I could say *Hi* to all the Wolverine fans!

I agree. It does look juvenile and childish on a grown women. Either choose the color or get a french pedicure. But some people don't care about fashion and wear and do what they like.

"over three years ago" says who ? i personally don't do that , but i find nothing wrong with anyone deciding to put flowers and "crap" on their toenails. it's their toenails and they can do whatever they want.

I always get a red rose painted on my big toe!!!!
It's cute! Who cares if it's out of style. Cute is cute.
Flowers on FINGERnails is a different story though.
