Hey guys... i have a bit of a problem, im an italian woman and im attracted to black males. My parents dont understand, its not that they are racist they just dont believe in inter racial dating. They have a lot of black friends, its just when it comes down to the dating, they want me to date an italian... im seeing someone now but its not really serious, i want to wait to make sure i get the right guy, plus i live with them still... its hard... anyone have advice or been in the same situation??

You have to follow your heart follow your interests. Not to be cruel but do they think that an italian man would treat you better than a black man? I know a big issue these days concerning inter-racial dating/marriages is what the children will go thru but it is a new century, time for a change.
I can understand where you are coming from when it comes to bringing your date home to meet your parents. You didn't mention that you have informed your parents that you like black men. Sit down & have a heart to heart with your parents, express how you really feel.

I HAVE BEEN THERE, YOU MUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART BUT WHEN YOU ARE IN YOUR PARENTS HOME YOU MUST FOLLOW THEIR RULES. THAT'S JUST RESPECT AND YOU SHOULD GIVE IT WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE. WHEN YOU MOVE OUT YOU CAN DATE ANYONE YOU LIKE BUT NOT NOW. SORRY, I KNOW THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAR, BUT IT IS THE TRUTH. YOUR PARENTS COMES BEFORE ANY RELATIONSHIP THAT HERE TODAY AND GONE THE NEXT DAY OR SO, THINK ABOUT IT.

you can live your life for any one but your self. but as long
as you are with your parents you need to respect there
home but i would just tak to them and let them know how
you feel . when you get out then you can date whom every
you want. but if they know now then may be down the road
they wont be so upset. but it really is your life.
