Where should I go, what quests should I do, should I grind somewhere?

Go to Crossroads and take the quests which involve killing critters. (There's about 5, at least 2 are a chain.) Then go to Ratchet and take the quests that involve the Venture Company - there's one from the goblin near the flight point, and one from the goblin on the docks. If you're not where you want to be, go to the engineers in Ratchet (NE corner of town, the hut with the telescope poking out the top) and start the pirate killing quests.
The goblin in front of the bank in Ratchet has a few interesting quests, but they're mostly more trouble than they're worth; if you have herbalism though you should take the root samples quest because you'll be passing a lot of plants in your travels.

quest. and kill shitt a lot. and join groups with ppl and do crazy sutff
