More often than not, a psychology degree is practically worthless unless you go for a ph.d. But when you get to that point, who knows how many possibilities there are. You can work in education, open your own office, work with elderly, youth, organizational, cognitive, social psych, it goes on forever. The hard part is getting the ph.d. Depending on what you wanna do, theres also social work, which usually requires a masters. Talk to advisors at the university you're at/want to go to. They can help alot with career decision-making and planning things out. Just take it one step at a time and don't stress yourself out with it.

Remember that psychology and sociology will take you down a long road which you are forced to take what you have learned out of context into reality. The hardest part about a BA in either of those fields is finding a job. Teaching others about the wonders of self exploration will be your most unique trip to guide you to er Canada?
