i thought they where different faculitys

None. There is no difference, they are one in the same. The complex is called, "Cheyenne Mountain", and NORAD is the organization that is based there.

Norad is the North American Aerospace Defense Command. On of the sites it worked out of was the Cheyanne Mountain Complex

Cheyenne Mountain is just one site. NORAD has other site all over, particularly the Arctic. My uncle used to work on the old DEW Line. (Distant Early Warning)

I think, but not sure...so dont quote me..that some or most of NORAD operations are now located at Petersen's Air Force Base...as of a cple years ago.
