yea some S.D. locals will tell you nothing or any type of identification but to be on the safe side (and so you can avoid fines that are occasionally given some people are not ware of this) your passport, it is Mexico which is another country you should always take your passport if you go to another country.

A shot of penicillin on the way in and a bath on the way back. Trust me you'll smell the place before you get to the border.

A clear head, drug and alcohol free. If you get turned around on the roads, unless you can read spanish, you are going to be totally confused, lost and placing yourself in danger.

a car.lol...well you need a greencard if youre not a citizen of the u.s. so you can come back in the U.S.
