cause its not whats hot out here in the streets....it looks too "soft"...further more they love to look young, fly, and flashy at all times....flip flops is not whats good

In my 40 plus years of life, I have found that African American men seem concerned with their appearance. European men seem the same way. You rarely see a man in Europe wearing flip flops. My husband is 100% Italian. His whole family just dresses up more, even to just go out to the grocery store. The same was true of black men in a neighbor I lived in in NC. If this answer offends anyone, it isn't meant to. I appreciate men who dress well.
