I'm not a wierdo (in the strictest sense), I'm just thinking about what happens, or what you feel/experience right asfter you die.

I KNOW WHAT YOU"RE GOING TO SAY!!!!! You are all going to tell me that death is the end of any more experience, but I think you're wrong.

Quite simply no one that is alive has experienced what happens after death or at the instant of death. The best anyone has to offer is their beliefs. There are a great variety of beliefs as to what happens after death. I don't know exactly what happens at the time of death or even a short time period after but I believe that I will eventually be in Heaven with Jesus Christ if I have chosen the right religion and I have repented of my sins. If I have chosen the wrong religion or I simply cease to exist when I die then that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

I've heard that the tunnel thing reportable by people who had a near death experience is attributable to the way the eye and optic nerve work. The brain perceives a distant bright light as things are shutting down.

I wouldn't really know, I would be dead by then. I haven't experience being dead.
