Can a newspaper post personal information online legally?

I just came across my name on their website under homesales. It has my full name, address, and the price I paid for my home??? Now every weirdo out there has my name and address. Are they requirred to remove it if request it to be removed?

Home sales are a matter of public record, easily obtainable from the Recorder of Deeds in your city, county, or state. You may be able to have the newspaper remove your name; but I doubt you can have the address and price of the home removed. Consult an attorney.
