I have met and shook hands with Barak Obama when he was running for senate.

I met Jimmy Page a few years ago. I didn't even know it was him until after I had left. My friend asked me if I knew who he was. I said no. After he told me I felt pretty stupid. My guitar hero as a child was talking to me and I didn't even know it.
I also met a bunch of Olympic Gold medal winners when working at a banquet. Again, I didn't know who they were and had to be told. I didn't care as much this time.

I met Robert Redford when he was in town back in the '70s making the film *Brubaker*
I've also met Leeza Gibbons, Leif Garrett, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Jon Bon Jovi, Taime Downe, Mark Slaughter, Jack Russell and Jesse McCartney (because of my teenage daughter!)

Harrison Ford.. he literally ran me over in a hall at the University of Chicago Hospital while filming The Fugitive. He was very nice and very apologetic.

I've meant several politicians, but I don't consider them famous, I consider them someone on my pay roll. Outside of them no one special except one young man my daughter use to go to school with and dated that played for the Redskins.

In elementary school, I vageuly recall meeting a basketball player. But I don't even remember who he was, just that he played for the Seattle Sonics.
