Im just doing a quick survey of what people think! Why do u think prisons are full of drug dealing. Why do u think prisoners use drugs?

r u kidding me? when ur stuck in a 12 by 4 cage for years u need some drugs to enhance the experience.

Boredom. Drugs are also a currency in prison, like cigarettes, etc. Plus, criminals usually have some connection to the drug world on the outside, so it's natural they would know or associate themselves with that kind of business.

example lets just say canabis a prisonor would take it as it is herbal remedy..some other do it in prison do die overdose of drugs... some people are addicted to drugs...for some people if drugs wernt in thier systems it would be like kryptonite to them.....they need time and space to think about issues..... they just wana get far away from the thought that they are in prison...and etc plus some of them who never took drugz once they are in the system prison pressure aka peer pressure if they dont take it they wont fit in the crowd...there are multiple reasonz

boredom. The feeling that society has given up on them. No hope for the future with a criminal record. What difference will drugs make? Just an idea.

they let the drugs in to keep the prisoners happy. the screws also make a lot out of drugs,

They are bored out of their minds. Drugs help them to take a holiday from that boredom. I don't take drugs, but I would do if I ever ended up inside.

Probably to escape, at least for a time, the reality of their situation, and/or to feel good, just like people on the outside.

you try and do 10 years and you cant go anywhere,if there was no drugs there would'nt be any sanity.
