Of course it is a logical impossibility for someone to go back in time (what if they altered the present so they would have never existed, thus they would never have been able to alter the present, etc...) But that doesn't stop certain people from claiming that they are visitors from the future.

There was a great jazz musician named Sun Ra who died a couple of years ago. During his lifetime he claimed to be from the planet Saturn in the 25th century.

There was a catcher with the Phillies in the 1990's named Darren Daulton that believed he could travel in time, as well as a whole bunch of other paranormal stuff like he could alter the weather. Perhaps his teammates wish that he could have made it rain more often when they were ahead after the fifth inning, as the Phillies blew a lot of leads during those years due to a lousy bullpen. He claims the world will come to an end sometime in 2012.

Yahoo News ran a story about a man named Andrew Carlssin who claimed to have travelled here from the 23rd century, and said he was arrested for SEC securities fraud for wildly successful stock market speculation. It turned out to have been a hoax.

And check out the surf band Man or Astro-man? that claim to be extraterrestrials from the future trying to figure out a way to build a bridge back to their own time and place.

Of course there have been many more but these are the most prominent ones that I'm aware of. Good question!

Lots of them.

Usually the men with the nets get them before they cause any damage, though.

There have been stories of people travelling to the past that sound credible.

Two middle aged omen of good repute in the late 1800's claimed to have spent a lovely afternoon in Paris France. Unfortunately, the Paris they described had not existed for about 150 years and they could not show people where exactly they'd been.

Here's a good question for you. How can anybody claim to be from the future when the future hasn't happened yet? I dont believe in a person traveling back in time. It's impossible.

you cant have a future if we are the first in our track of time. if there is a physical future somewhere in a realm of time in space then that means our current track of time is not the original track. the very first one in which there was no future only the existing time. in that case if there is a future that means this time has already passed eons ago ( as many yrs as the original track of time is ahead of us). if that is so then people who have created a time a machine in the future would have visited us already. and since such event hasnt happened i think we are ahead in the track of time. when we reach the required technology then we can time travel. and there is a possiblity in multiple tracks of time. billions of them and infinite array of tracks. once we master time travel we would break into the tracks everytime someone changes the past a new track would be created. heres a sample. a track of time where lincoln was saved from assassination is one. another is when lincoln was killed by a time traveler. another is when washington is killed at birth thus preventing victory at the revolutionary war. when people time travel they will be able to change whatever the please all the time. that means everyone would have their own track of time in which they live. and those track of times will began others kinda like a family three only working itself upwards.

Some writings of Nostradamus were said to reveal that he is from the future (time wasn't specific), but he traveled to the 1500's and made many predictions that later came true.
