See...this is what you call grade A paranoia! See what George Bush has done to this country...! Yeah I am sure all those "terrorists" if you want to generalize, were sitting in a big meeting trying to come up with a plan of how to really shake things up again and one smart and articulate Western hater piped and said (in Arabic accent) "Why don't we spend millions of dollars ( that we got from Donald Rumsfeld in the 80s when the Russians were the baddies) to train our elite killers to put stuff in Dog and Cat food so we can try and kill off all of America's cuddly little pets...whoah, that would really piss them off and get them riled up." Doesn't sound very plausible or worth the effort does it? It's OK you can turn of your computer and go back to watching the TV now...

I hate to think this but perhaps rats are used in dog food regularly only this time the company did not know the rats were poisoned.

No, why are they buy wheat from China...don't we have enough here? There are no safety regs there...which means that the pet companies really are only interested in making a buck at the expense of the lives of our pets. I am not buying any more canned dog food. I'll make my own dog food. It will take time but cheaper and healthier in the long run for my beloved pets. They are worth my time and effort.

Oh no of course not, but interesting thought there. How about it was more like some disgruntled, overworked, tired, employee who was trying to fumigate the place like he does every week and by mistake some little accident happened and it got mixed up with the dog food? Or it wasn't even him but some other employee who just didn't cover up one of the bins he was supposed to and oops there you go.

Personally, I do not. There are no real benifits for terrorists to kill people's pets. I think either it was simply an accident, or that somebody who works for the company could have done it for their own personal reasons.

no the assumption is that some of our wheat products are
imported from china where they used this pesticide in their wheat fields to control the rodent problem . Poor processing and /or inspection resulted in the tainted wheat being exported to a Canadian manufacturer for use in dog and cat food
