Yeah, as long as it's sincere.. you can tell if they aren't. Some people pay compliments just to get something done from you... it makes me go all cold and shivery when people do that... I mean, I'd help them out if they just asked me straight. By saying things which aren't true, they make me want to throw things at their face, which would make ME the bad one...

Sure it does but I sometimes usually accept compliments hesitantly not believing that people are being true and honest... I've encountered a lot of people who are out to get others...and let's just say its impacted me some.

It depends on who is doing the complimenting and if I believe that they sincerely mean what they say.
