Looking for a corporate-type marketing job and trying to prepare myself...how to write a resume, cover letter, how to talk in an interview, etc. and really understanding what an employer wants will help me a lot in the process.
Thanks a lot :)

In a way, marketing closely relates to sales. You have to determine what ppl want and then how to present it to them so they'll keep coming back. If you have any sales experience, list it and not just duties and responsibilities but actual accomplishments. If you don't have any sales experience, think of other situations in which you had you had to be persuasive. Show things that show you're creative, an innovative thinker, or good at selling ideas, not nessarily products. Marketers have to set many goals, so during an interview talk about a goal you have had or currently have and what you're doing (did) to reach it.
