8√6 - √24
= 8√6 - √(4 × 6)
= 8√6 - √4√6
= 8√6 - 2√6
= 6√6

2.

√2(7√3 - 4√2)
= (7√3)√2 - (4√2)√2
= 7√(3 × 2) - 4√(2 × 2)
= 7√6 - 4√4
= 7√6 - 4(2)
= 7√6 - 8

sqrt 24 is sqrt 4 times sqrt 6

sqrt 6 is sqrt 3 times sqrt 2

8 sqrt - sqrt 24= 4sqrt 6

sqrt 2(7sqrt3-4sqrt2) not sure if you can simplify it after multiplying
