whatever you do dont whine! it make them think of you as still a child. sit them down and have a serious conversation with them. like try to form some kind of agreement where you are both happy with the final decision. you could tell them to let you drive everytime you go to the grocery store and say on your 5th time to let you drive by yourself and just have them follow so they will know how you drive without anyone in the car. if you want to start out small (if you live in a neighborhood) ask them if every day you could just drive around there until they feel comfortable with that and then just work your way up!
good luck!

I just got my license about 2 months ago. But when I first got it I had that same problem with my parents. They wouldn't let me go anywhere! After about a month they eventually let me go to the movies by myself but it was all a trust thing. If you tell your parents your going somewhere and will be back at a certain time do exactly that. You just have to build trust. The more they trust you the more they'll let you drive by yourself.

You did not point out your age or driving adventure. i assume you're a extremely youthful driving force. i'm unsure you could say or do something to sway your mothers and fathers.that's a count of their being happy which you have adequate adventure to wisely stress there. they're probable thinking regarding the driving behavior of the persons you could desire to share the roads with. i became a similar way with my little ones and my mom became too. Sorry kiddo. wait and notice. It looks like they're merely looking out for you.
