In the movie Christine, what is the movie error with Buddy Repperton's car that Christine smashes into in that scene?

its when Christine chases him to the gas station and he gets out before Christine smashes into Buddy's car. when she(Christine) backs up you can see that Buddy's camaro has no engine. probably removed for safety issues.

Didnt it have to do with the here in one scene and gone the next licence plate?

the motor is missing in the one scene.
