I feel very happy right now because I dared do something earlier today. I wasn't sure if I should and there were signs saying I probably shouldn't do it, but I did it anyway. Launched off the sea cliffs in marginal wind conditions, banked right, and got about 100 feet above launch. Rode it out for about 10 passes north to south, and when I felt I had enough altitude, I went in for a top landing. My downwind speed was high and the ground rush was a bit sudden. I managed to turn my glider around onto its base leg, and I was very mindful of not touching a wingtip on the ground as I turned towards final approach. I wasn't quite able to get my glider completely turned into the wind for a landing, so I landed cross-wind. An aggressive flare saved my butt from whacking into the ground and I landed safely. I carried my glider over to the take-down area and I felt totally stoked. I flew, I landed, and life is good. Especially considering that I could not have beach-landed this time, because of high tide. All during my flight, looking straight down all I saw was the Pacific Ocean. I love to fly. Looking forward to tomorrow, where I am considering soaring an inland mountain. Hope I get above launch. There's a good chance of that if the winds are from the southwest. I just love flying. I really do. Woo hoo!

Knowing that I don't plan on wasting one single day in my life. Understanding that my life wasn't a mistake and also understanding that my thoughts can have an impact on others which are stranded at an emotional crossroads. I don't intend to play God or to cast a wrath of what not's or rules to live by. I will simply ask the person in question to really take a good look at themselves and then proceed with the proper adjustment if it is required.
