I dont think Ive lived long enough to have a favorite memory. Im only 20 years old so I still have awhile to live, I hope!
But if I have to choose, umm probably the day my parents finally said I could get 2 cats after 16 years!!!! Unfortunetely my male cat died a year ago :-( , saddest memory ever!!!!!! But I still have my babygirl and she will hopefully live longer and be with me for awhile, shes my everything right now, lol.

My dad walking all the way across a field to town (2.5 miles) in a raging blizzard to save me from having to drive home from school in it! I have remembered that love act for many years now!

Sharing Mother's Day with my Mom, but she's been gone 10 years, so those are very precious to me, the memories. Thanks for asking.

We were out to my parents house for the day...a snowy Sunday....We hadn't been out there in a few weeks as the weather has just sucked rotten eggs.......annnyway.....Penelope was on the computer, as usual....My mom and I were sitting at the dining room table playing Scrabble (we have yet to play our tiebreaker...we're both 1-1 (I beat her the first time and am still proud as punch at my 42 points for the word *qaids*....I have no clue what it means....but its clearly a word as deemed by the offical Scrabble list of *Q* words without using a *U*)
My dad was outside.....doing his thing; walking around his woods, stoking his fire in the apartment and just communing with nature.....he comes and opens the kitchen door and asks if anyone has gotten the newspaper.....no one has, so he says hes going to walk down and get it.......*Okay* my mom and I reply and go on with our game.....
From the dining room, you can see the driveway and we see him round the corner and head off down the side of the driveway in the yard/snow. He chose this way because while hes plowed the driveway...it is pretty slick still....so we see him heading down to the end of the drive.....he gets about halfway down and turns around and comes back to the kitchen door...sticks his head in and says *I've decided on a better way to go get the paper.......Watch....*
My mom and I keep playing, keeping one eye out the window to see what my dad is up to (I think this is where I would've scored a gabillion points with the word *nugget* but Noooooo, my mom had to spell *nice* and take my N........what a turd!)
Next thing we know/see.......is this flash from the driveway...........both my mom and I are like WTF????? (okay, I was like wtf? my mom was more like wth?)....and we get up and go to the front window.....and here my 73 year old dad......is literally FLYING down the driveway......on a snow sled.......and when I say flying....I mean FLYING!
He takes the turn, like a professional bob-sledder....seemingly with ease.....and he careens to the right side of the driveway into a rut....to slow/stop himself....he gets up, walks over and gets the paper....grabs the rope on the sled...and starts walking it back up the driveway.....we're laughing so hard, we can't see straight.
He comes to the back door off the family room and opens the door, throws the paper in and closes the door.......He then opens the door again, walks in and goes into the computer room and gets Penelope....and he tells her to come to the window in the dining room and watch....
So she does.......and here he comes again.....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzooooooooommmmmm...down the driveway again, on the sled he goes........now we're laughing so hard, along with Penelope....we're holding onto one another to keep ourselves upright.....once again...he careens to the right side of the driveway....hits the same exact rut.....but this time, he tips the front of the sled upwards and lands on his back in the snow......
I swear to God this was THE funniest thing I have ever seen. It is just another memory of my dad, that I will have for the rest of my life.....
Once he comes in and de-snows himself....his *hunny* can only look at him, shake her head.....and says to him....*Grandpa, you're a dork!*
