How dumb are you? Shoot if that's the case then the next MVP should be the guy that never touches the ball as he is obviously the most unselfish!

Or give it to the guy on the bench or better yet the guy out for the whole season with an injury.

People who can drop 60+ put more fear in the opposing teams heart even Dirk and Nash fear Kobe.

Dude it's like you just answered someone else's question because it wasn't mine. Llamar and Kwame need to step up for them to get a ring.

Honestly If you were In the NBA and you were a good player would you want to be on someones team that shots as much as he does? Its the Lakers show not sellfish Kobe show!! His FG% is very low compared to NBA greats and he sucks at defense!! The guy needed to go to college ball to learn a thing or two 45% shooting in the NBA is a joke are u kidding and in 03-04 season he shot 43% OMG! Give the bench warmer the ball and he will score 100 a game If thats the case!

Well, just in case you need to be reminded, the game we call "basketball" has 5 players on the floor playing on each team, namely the Center, Power Forward, Small Forward, Shooting Guard, and Point Guard. And, in case you've forgotten, the 3 main stats in basketball are, Points, Rebounds, and yeah, Assists. Assists play an important role in the game, and i'm quite sure you'd know that. So, Kobe has to pass the ball around and let everyone have a touch on it.

It's just that, in today's case of Kobe's team, it is understandable that he's not passing the ball and would rather keep it to himself. That's because no one other than himself can carry his team. He knows the Playoffs are drawing near and if he's gonna let his team lose and lose every game, they might just fall back. Everybody knows that the Lakers still haven't secured a spot in the playoffs unlike the MAVS, Suns, Spurs... So he's keeping the ball to himself now just to secure his team's victory.

And by the way, Dirk and Steve aren't hell scared of him, but they sure do respect him. Dirk said that Kobe's still his no.1 player in the league for him.

Because until MJ there had never been a NBA champion with a guy who's won a scoring title. And since MJ there hasn't been another one....While Kobe is doing some amazing things and tying or breaking some records right now the Lakers are barely above .500% and will be exiting the playoffs in the 1st round because their draw will be either Dallas, Phoenix or San Antonio and they are all to good of teams to let one guy beat them. So he needs to get the other players more involved and help them to be better weapons to get to the next round.

no i think ur the dumb one. he is scoring 50 on crappy teams and when he plays good teams that wont happen and other playas will hav to step up but they wont kno how to goes they never get too. o and droppin 60+ isnt feared by good teams
Ex: suns> they will but raja bell on him and he will only get maybe 30-40. o and nash is more feared cuz not only does he penatrate and draw double teams but then he finds the open guy a pts. also he can score when ever he wants too but only does it when the team needs it thats a great playa not Kobe

here's what's gonna happen... kobe will keep getting 50 points a game against CRAPPY teams (new orleans, memphis, seriously guys) and then when playoffs role around and they have to play a good team especially a good defensive team, kobe will be limited (even if it's only 20 points) and the rest of his team won't know what it's like to shoot a basketball.

who cares who gets the MVP...the game is about getting rings...if Kobe doesnt have anyone else to defer to then playoff caliber teams will overplay him and he will average 38 a game and the team will lose...due to lack of confidence/experience on the part of the other players come crunch time...

Well let me think because he probably needs to. If you get like 45 points a game and like 3 assits there is a major problem there

'coz Kobe's a BALLHOG!!!! he wants the ball for himself (yeah he passes the ball b4 the all-star break but after he became selfish again...) he scored more than 25 points in almost every night

I said Kobe needs to pass more, but he was passing more and his team was lossing so I take it back, they are close to the playoffs and Kobe needs to do what he has to for his team to win. His team isn't helping him, so he has to do it all himself, that's what makes him good, that he CAN do it by himself.
