The only thing I find unpleasant is the "thee" maybe switch it to i love you but do you love me
if i chase, will you turn and flee
isn't that how its soposed (sp) to be
now i just have one question
as i get down on my knee
and ask would you be my bride to be
will you say yes to me

I love you, baby, do you love me?
If I chase after you, will you just flee?
Is that really how this is supposed to be?
Wait a moment, one more question from me.
Let me get down on one knee,
Take out a ring, and look at your face of glee
And ask "Would you be my bride to be?"

its pretty much the same thing, i kept your dedication to the eeee thing. just a different version. yours was pretty good.

"supposed"

First of all, I think it's cute. A good try if you're intending on proposing. 1 thing though, in the 1st 2 lines, it says that you love the person, but aren't sure if that person loves you...doesn't that sort of contradict 2 the "will you marry me" part? where you have to be certain that that person loves you in order 2 ask their hand in marriage. I think it does, I might be wrong but I don't think you'd say this to a supposed crush right, but to whom you think is your soulmate

If I was her, I would have to say "A" for effort. Put a little more emotion into it.

Of course, if you will ask her in the right place at the right time she just might say yes. Spell: supposed

yah, that is good. i like it. i have a feeling you will use if for a proposal. if you do, make sure to say it very slow and probably have it memorized (but it can easily be forgotten in such haste and nervousness so have a copy). in my opinion I would make sure that the lucky woman is the type that likes to smile and be swept off her feet... you got this one.
