There are kits with all you need to get started & step by step instructions at most craft stores like Hobby Lobby & Michaels. Basically you need wax, wicks, scent, coloring, molds & something to heat the wax in.

molds, wax , wicks, scent and color, melt wax , prepare mold, put in wick, pour wax in once you have added color and scent to wax,
