where can i find an cheap photo album/ scrapbook?

Question

i have looked everywhere for one of those older types of photoalbums with the clear plastic that pulls up to put the pictures in-under. im NOT looking for the ones that the pictures just slide in becuase I like to use this type as a scrapbook and I keep all kinds of things in my scrap book. any ideas where i can find this type of album or what I should use? I want to be able to pull the picture out of the album after it is in there (in case someone wants a copy or something)

I've seen them quite often in 99 cent stores or big lots. some of the smaller chain stores still seem to carry those type of albums.

I would not suggest this to keep your photos in unless it says acid free. It can ruin your pics. I would suggest page protectors from the office supply store or scrapbook stores if you need a special size, that are noted acid free. Just put your page together on paper and slide it in. If you are keeping memories alive, care for them correctly. If it matters to you, it will probably be of interest to your friends and family for quite a while. Keep them in good shape

I think they were called magnetic photo albums. I would discourage using them. When left for years under the plastic, it ruins the newspaper articles if you lift up the plastic. It could ruin pictures too as I don't think they were acid free.

if you want to go reallllllllllly cheap the Dollar Store Carries them.....they are no where near as good as the good ones but hey they work for now...

Have you tried Walgreens? I've gotten some from there that are cheap and cute.
