The purpose of this question is that I am writing one and want to make sure it's long enough.

Well they are ranging from around 180 pages to about 220 ish. Thats how many the average graphic novel has..I have The Sandman graphic novels here in front of me some are thicker then others. But roughly 180 to 200. I hope i could help.

I do not think there is an official number of pages to be considered a graphic novel. Generally, I think the starting point is like 96 pgs. Which is generally about 3 comics worth. American Comics are typically 32 pages. At 64 pages they are generally considered an oversized issue, but I usally consider these Prestige Format comics. Right now, off the Shazam and the Monstersociety of evil is runnign Prestige format and it is only 48pgs. But yeah, a graphic novel can be anywhere from usally about 120ish to 400 pages or more.

Yes about 20 pages plus is graphic novel. It's not volum size, at all

Considering writing comics is a passion of mine here you go. Average monthly comic 22 pgs, graphic novels can be anywhere from 60-500 pages from what I've found out.
