1. asdf is what you type in the subject line when you have no subject.

2.asdf are the first four letters you learn in typing

3.asdf is worth 8 points in scrabble.

4."asdf" is the sequence of letters that appear on the first four keys on the home row of a QWERTY or QWERTZ keyboard.

5. 'asdf' is a default password for some systems. Therefore the word is used in many dictionary crackers, since there is always the possibility that some user has left their password as 'asdf' by default.

6. asdf, being a very common sequence of letters, has led to various sarcastic jocularities analyzing its meaning. One such example is http//:asdf.com

It doesn't have a meaning, they are the first four letters on the home-row keys of a standard QWERTY or QWERTZ keyboard. This is also a common default password for system settings, as well as a common password that I strongly advise not using, as it is easily guessed.
