Dear Cuddley,
I travel a lot and I always bring a set of light sweats to wear to bed when I'm on the road. I have been in 2 hotel fires, and 2 or 3 earthquakes and believe me it was easy to get up and out of the room fast when all I needed to put on was a pair of sneakers, grab my wallet and run like crazy to the stairs and out of the hotel.
On one of my trips I had the whole family and all four of us got out of the room in less than 2 minutes when the fire alarm went off on our floor of a holiday Inn.
Good Luck.
Grampy
