I have been with my company "The Childrens Place", for over 6-months. I helped them open/build the store when it came to our mall.

In that time I have been faithful and gone above and beyond being just a Sale Associate..(I have been told this by not only my Mangers but my DSM).

Yet..In 6-months I have yet to get a Pay-Raise..(still at $7.50).
Is this common? Or am I maybe being un-greatful.

Please give me your opinion.

That all depends, if your company has a policy in place for wage increases after a certain period of time, they should let you know when you were hired. If there is no policy in place then thats too bad, no raise for you. I think working in a place for 6 months should not entitle you or anyone else to a raise, its usually after a year that people get raises. I would suggest keeping up the good work, and it will probably pay off come raise time.

Some places give raises at 6 months, others at one year.

Have you approached your manager and asked for a review and possible raise? Make a list of the extra duties you are performing. It is ok to ask for a raise.
