Is this information readily available. I need this for clinton county in Illinois

First, check online with IRAD, it is user friendly. This link will take you to a page where you choose Clinton county and Probate in the title. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the instructions. This site also contains indexes for birth and death records in Illinois and several other Illinois databases you may be interested in:

This is the Clinton County Clerk and Recorder's Office. You may need to call them but the phone number and address are supplied on the site. If anything, they would be able to direct exactly to where or whom you need to speak to.

Good question. The best place to go, if you have the info, is to go to the attorney or law firm that drafted the trust. If you don't have this info, maybe you know of a bank or other financial institution that housed some of the trust assets - they would usually have a copy of the trust/will. Good luck!

Wills that are being probated are on file, but if the person is still living, they get to decide who can read it.

call the courthouse and see if someone will look it up for you. ask for what the fee will be.
