Sorry about your nanny. That's hard to get thru.
After my son died, one day this man showed up in our break room at work. I don't know how I knew he was an angel, but I did know it........ Later that same day, he passed me, and he said "Gary Paul says hi." That's all. He kept on walking. He wasn't waiting for me to ay anything. He merely passed on the message. ( No one in that room knew that my son preferred the two names together.) He made me feel so much better.
I never saw that man again.

A couple of months after my dad passed on, he came to me in a dream and although no words were spoken, I sensed that he wanted me to know he was ok and happy. Where he appeared to be was in an apple orchard where he loved to go, and he did a lot of grafting. Not everyone can do that, but he got really pretty good at it in his later years.
I told my mom about the dream and I asked her if she ever dreamed about him, and she said she hadn't yet. But that might not be entirely the truth because she might not have remembered it. Lots of dreams are forgotten when we wake up.
I want to believe that there is that possibility that they can convey things to us.

I'm sorry about your nanny. I felt like my mom "visited" me after she died to check up on me and to tell me that she and I were both going to be all right.
