I have a couple of problems with my Z28. The Transmition is Shifting Hard, and I was wondering what I can do to fix this. It doesn't shift hard all the Time, just some of the time. It is an Automatic, and I have noticed that the Tackometer shows the Transmition shifting any where Above 1100 RPM.

I think that is just to early for Shifting. It Shifts hard, when it does that. Is there any way to Adjust the Shifting-Pionts??

And How do you quite a 'Knocking' Rear-Differential?!?
I just changed the Fluid, and it STILL does this!!

Please, F-Body Gear-heads, Help me!!

properly i might advise you get the filter out/gasket and fluid replaced, flushing the device won't replace any of those different than the fluid... you should discover a various place that could try this for about $80.00, i might bypass this course first, to work out if your trans purely desires clean filter out and fluid... If this "difficult shifting" would not clean up in approximately 3 days of standard utilising, then i might say get a "complete fluid flush-which will do away with the previous fluid interior the Converter. If this would not help the two, then get to a real trans save and have them "pc diagnose/dyno attempt"-if your able to... Your Camaro might choose interest to the "cable shift place or perhaps the throttle place sensor... it won't be a "huge situation", as i discussed start up with the reasonable and course your self from that ingredient... *be conscious i on a daily basis tension a 1988 Chevy Silverado 305 V8, and had the "fluid Flush" completed @ $a hundred and twenty.00 and that i will nevertheless ought to three time quickly get the filter out replaced besides, i ought to have completed it first, yet on the time i became on the "jiffy Lube" they advised me they no longer replace the gasket and filter out for transmissions and offered me on the "complete Fluid Flush". superb desires. The F-Body's were always hard on transmission mounts. I'd give that a look. I doubt the diff is bad but you may have a bad universal joint.
