The two of them had a chemistry that caused the immense attraction to their songs by the worldwide listening public. Some critics had tried to explain that magic.
Who was better? One can quote all the technicalities already out there for 40 years?, but can anyone unravel the magic? Play a song with the two together and play the solos.
I guess all I am saying is that I understand the question.

When they were making the charts, I preferred Art Garfunkle. But as time went by, Paul Simon came up with some great stuff sans Art.

Technically, Garfunkel. Simon's voice has more style and character, though; he is one of those voices you instantly recognize even if you don't know the song.

Simon by far, Garfunkel uses falsetto too much.
